VHF License needed?
I just picked up a ICON M36 VHF radio. Do I need to get a license to use it?

Yes, you need two to operate it, one to transmit and one to receive, you'll also need to take a quick course which can be completed online. The training is $15.00 which must be paid via a debit or credit card, the billing address is in Zimbabwe but don't worry about that. I can provide you with both permits, each one is $39.95 and is only good for the remainder of the year, $15.46 to process the application and $13.87 to renew it every year there after except when the year starts with 20(2011, 2012...etc), those years its $29.46 to renew it. Shoot me a pm and I'll get you going.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Just kidding..........no permit required.
