It's a pretty small lake with lots of traffic. I'm pretty sure that yaks are allowed but with all the boat traffic it might not be the best idea. As for fishing, i know there are a decent amount of cats in there, but don't think there is much else in the summer.
Also the lake is pretty dirty. Lots of farm runoff containing pesticides so you might not want to eat anything out of there. Have a good time! I used to wakeboard up there a ton! |

Its been many years, but the small lake doesn't have any traffic. They
used to catch monters stripers there on blood worms. |

stripers on rattle traps in blue and chrome...
catfish on anchovies or sardines or yer favorite stink bait... kayak fish on lake evans...it's 5mph only... the main lake...lake Webb has way too much boat traffic for yakking.... even if they let you, I'd be nervous... for bass on the main lake, I'll fish the shore around the campground and marina early and late...usually get a few, plastic woims and or small spinnerbaits is wut I'll huck, but once the boat traffic starts...forget it... I have never put much time in at the fishing lake in the summer... too much water skiing and boating with the kids 'n' whutnot... I'll usually get some catfish bait and have a blast with the young 'uns hookin' the whiskerfish...you can do that all day... at's just good clean fun... let us know how you do... |
