Chicken liver, medium to large shad heads, 1 inch long by 1/4 inch wide strips of shad.

its hard to beat fresh frozen mackerel but carolinas good if you have to cast far but i have had the most success fly lining cut mack on a 3/0 it has some heft to it so you can fling it pretty good without the weight i like to keep my line loose and watch the line instead of watching the rod chicken liver is good if you can keep it on the hook and every store has it but mack is my go to

Frozen Mac with some Garlic sauce on it. Just like the previous post, flyline it let it sink and reel in your fish. The cats pick it up without knowing anything is up!
