Going fishing tomorrow, 7/2, in OC
I'm going out again tomorrow out of either Dana or NPB. I just thought I'd see if anyone else wanted to go.

July 3rd
Planning on hitting Dana Point on the 3rd with my brother (wmbeusch). I'll be on my Dune Outback & my brother on his Yellow X-Factor.
Plan on heading out to the pipes. Low tide @ 5:21am & high tide @ 11:46am. Robert |

It was a slow bite today but at least I didn't get skunked. I'll be at baby beach again tomorrow a little after 5:00. I'll see you guys out there.

The bite was even slower today. I only caught one fish and that was at 6:00. Kept trying all day till 1:00. Hit the pipe, the kelp, Doheney and the harbor. I talked to half a dozen other kayak fishermen and nobody was catching anything worth wile.
That being said, I still had a great time. The ocean was calm, the temp of both the air and water were nice and I missed the wind both days. Got to meet and fish with a couple new people today too. All in all, even with the lack of fish, a good time was had by all. I think I'll hit up another spot next week. I'm just not sure which one yet. |
