I just picked a 20 up myself, and added the extra $20 off coupon. Walked out the door spending $109.74 total, not bad considering I bought this same reel a few month ago for $169 + tax. Thanks for sharing the info on the very nice sale.

i did the same exact thing yesterday. Would have gotten something bigger but the Big 5 in Capo Beach wasnt offering anything but the 20 at 119.99. Guess tax must be diff here though cause mine was 108nchange. Filled it with 15 and used it today. Really liked it. Great free spool and casts really nice with the 3/4 ounce leadhead i was throwing. |

My other reel is spooled with 50lb braid and 30lb top shot for fishing in the kelp. I'm fishing 8" MC Swimbaits with Owner Beast hooks designed for weedless rigging. I use the weighted and un-weighted hooks, have yet to loose any to the kelp. |

Out of the 20 in Fullerton, but they still honored the sale prices. Got a 30 & 40 & used the $20 coupon. Didn't need them but got them anyways

I know you can't walk away from that deal. I was up there to get a Avet from a private party and wound up with a rod and reel and the saltist. Sometimes we luck out. Paul

I scored the last two they had in the 30T and the 40. Both in the 4.9:1 gear ratio.
The new black Saltist doesn't come in a 4.9:1 and Daiwa told Charkbait that they don't plan on making the lower gear ratio. So get them while you can. ------------------ This reel can land anything and should always be on your kayak. Thanks Paul
