La Jolla boat ramp swell direction
Does the boat launch pull in more south swell then north? Haven't fished LJ in summer yet but it seems to wrap more swell to the launch then NW's do. Thanks

I don't think the shores can get in anything lower than about 240 degrees or so (WSW), unless it is a mackin huge long period swell that can wrap around, then maybe 230 degrees (SW). It's mainly exposed to W-NW. It's usually pretty flat in the summer.
