Malibu X Factor realised i needed leashes and rod holders. so i opened up the garage. all in all it cost me about $20 to get it started. and yes i sealed all the holes. |

Sup buddy. I actually just purchased a second hand x-factor as well. I'm also pretty new to yak fishing (as I've only gone out a handful of times). Heading out to La Jolla Kelp for the first time Saturday. Was thinking of heading down there around 6am as most people tend to launch there pretty early. If you are looking for someone to go out with you are more than welcome to tag along.- Jordan

its still up in the air. i want to. but my dad wants to get a kayak too and i've been lookin on CL with no luck for a stealth, Xfactor, F&D or the like for a decent price. its kinda putting a damper on my adventures right now. haha. and if anyone knows where to get a decent 12footer with seat and paddle, doesnt need all the extras just big enough to get out there and hold a 130lb girl with some camera gear and a rod. i been looking at the caper and scrambler. |

I love new yak porn, nice rig...I like the mods on the "gator" hatch, I had an X factor, wouldn't that be a long reach for the rods though?
welcome to the addiction, I am sure you guys will have a great day, be careful out there |

uhh unfortunately thats from last Junes sale, someone just made a new comment on a very old topic so it brought it back up. But i am sure they will plan one soon considering its been a few months now since the last one. Keep your eye out here and youll see whenever that may be.

ya. i think i might take it off and attach it to a milk crate in the back like i did with the pontoon boat and put some flush mounts up there. we'll see how it works out. but with a rod in the far holder it pulls on the hatch and doesnt seem to secure. but with the rods in the center and upright its fine. |

What's up Lee. The name is Jordan. I'm gonna be there at 6am. I've got a blue X-Factor on a White F150. I'm gonna drop my yak and gear off on the beach and then go park. Hope to see you and anyone else who wants to join there.
