Question

Andy,

Okay, I can do a day w/o the trolling motor and paddle instead... no problem.

But another question... I'm considering entering the Halibut Division but am curious about keeping the catch alive... or does that apply only to bass? I assume halibut need to be a legal length of 22", but be kept alive as well? Don't have a live well that large... and not sure if it applies in this division or not. Can you please clarify? Also, can you explain the procedure about weigh-in boats (as I heard someone mention that they might be in use for this event)... Thanks!

Excellent news... Batson Enterprises has once again stepped up to the plate and donated another great prize for a great cause. Their generousity and appreciation towards our military is beyond words and I'm proud to collaborate with them on this project. Construction has started on a brand spankin' new Revelation 72H in all Alps components. Will try and keep yall updated as progress continues.

This is a separate division that you will specify upon check in. In this division you may use live and cut bait and fish more than 1 rod at a time. Live bait can be brought, bought or caught.

Andy, if I join both divisions can I fish live bait for halibut on one rod and artificial bait(for bass) on the other?

Obviously, I'm aware that catching a bass on live bait does not count..................based on the size of the baits that I like to use for halibut I doubt a bass will swallow it

Jorge, I set it up this year where you had to specify one or the other, I hoped to persuade guys without livewells or just not into bass fishing an option to participate. Depending on how many we draw to the halibut division will determine what we do next year.

Hey Andy, maybe next year(or even this year) you could pay into both divisions but still only fish artificials? This would get $50 from guys like myself who would like to fish artificials but would still have a crack at winning the halibut division. The stipulation would be if you enter both divisions only artificials would be allowed on your boat.

TWELVE DAYS and counting. Lots of swag, raffle items and good times. Remember all proceedes go to OUR HEROES on the WATER. I only count 53 entrants, what are we waiting for? I see a lot of missing names on the list, what's up?

Is it as always, staying away from the Bait Barge, and not going past the Channel marker heading outward of the bay?
