I just checked my IGFA record book, and indeed you do have an IGFA womens record. No matter what size line you were using 2-80lb test you have them all broken with the 46 lber. the next biggest was 42 lbs 14 oz on 12lb test.
The record will of course depend on whether you followed the IGFA rules. I hope you were not using a treble hook, not legal in IGFA.
Please give me a call if you would like more information on the rules or would like the proper forms for submitting the catch. I can fax them over to you.

DANG :!: I've seen some pretty nice flatties caught at Dana Point over the years, but I don't recall ever seeing anything even coming close to that first monster! Also, I'm not so sure about the "catch of a lifetime" stuff...for most people yes, but Julie's got halibut fishing wired! At the rate she and Aaron are catching flatties I wouldn't be surprised if we see the dynamic duo post few more slabs this year!!!
