Heard alot about tidelands but where is it?

Take I-5 south, go over the bridge to Coronado. You can see Tidelands Park on the right while going over the bridge. Take the first right after the bridge, then the next first right at the stop sign. Follow the street to the end, which will be Tidelands Park. The little beach you will be launching from is to the far right side of the park so that is where you will want to park. Just a heads up if anyone hasen't been there in a while, they have signs up now saying "no parking before 6:00 am".

From what I understand he lunged for a rod he dropped and ended up in the drink.
