Fun day back on the water (not today)
Still trying to figure out new camera mount and how to stick a gaff on the first shot......turned the camera around on the first gaff attempt.........skunked today

Tom, sweet video!
I surprised no one has mounted a camera to the gaff yet, that would be cool to see. |

No pulley, just on a PVC pipe that was loosely set into pole holder on bait tank.....first time using that set up but kinda made for a cool effect.......down side was the camera turned as I missed the first gaff attempt. I turned back to turn the camera off and saw it was facing backwards. So I wasn't sure how much footage I had and was stoked to get most of it

sweet yellow, i have a similar pole setup for my gopro. it seems like its loose in the rodholder. i had the same issue, so i just wrapped sections of duct tape around the base of the pole to make two fat knobs. this made it sit snug in the rodholder, didnt twist around, and act as a sort of handle/grip when i'm using the pole camera by hand rather than in a rod holder
