John, I suggest you take that name and wear it like a badge of honor!

If it had ended in a lost fish, or lost gear, or some other bad outcome it would be different.

Going though that, without losing all your gear and beating the dog in the process shows that you had your s**t toghther and leashed. Kept on fishing? Cool!

Whether you take on the name is up to you, but I hope your BWE handle will change soon!
