I would go with the Revo. It's a little easier to get past surf and overall quicker. One thing I've learned is you can teach yourself balance but you can only go as quick as the the yak will let you.

I recommend the Revo as an owner of one as well. I'm 240 with at least another 60lbs of gear and accessories on board. So it will handle all that you and then some. I bet you can get about 400lbs and still be float fine. Although you will likely rest a little lower in the water.
