maybe try Santee Lakes. I'd say its about 30 minutes from the launch

Gonna cross my fingers for San Elijo, but that's looking like a long shot. If not then I guess we'll end up back at my favorite, Campland. See you guys Saturday....or my buddy and I will be fishing LJ on Friday, as well, if anyone is going to be around. Banged a 33lb YT the day before last year's tourny with the help of deepdvr. ya my parents book san elijo 6 months in advance i think when they plan trips to camp down there. Worth a shot though. Killer camp ground with some great surf.
