First time landing in the surf I caught a small wave and rolled. Good thing I had done a lot of reading about this before attempting it and had all my gear stored well so nothing lost and no broken rods. Only downside was all 3 of my reels got filled with sand..... Got blasted today by 2 incoming waves on the launch and got soaked and filled my yak full of water for a moment but stayed upright. Im sure ill crash again sometime soon. Now I have reel covers I put on all my reels when launching and landing.
