NPH thresher

made a vid to save time.

went with my dad, got bit off right away and had my bait swiped soon after, then dad hooked up and landed this one. 43.5" to inside fork, 80" overall.

also helped land one that was easily 3x's the size of this one

by the way. if anyone reads a report of a large thresher from newport from sunday, can you give me a heads up, I'd like to know how big that thing really was. it slapped me enough times in the face to make me not forget.

he was on for about 30 mins, the last 10 were just circles under the yak. never jumped and was hooked on or near the bottom.

with the course of the other thread about a thresher, and how the weight was over estimated. how much do you guys think this one would have weighed? as far as size i honestly think 60lbs, 70 max. but holding it, it felt alot heavier than any 70lb barbell ive used. but thats to be expected, kinda like a full 5gal bucket (45lbs) feeling heavier than a 45lb dumbell.

That's about a 35lb fish. 40lb max.

Not trying to be a dick, just being honest.
