Caught on a mac with a 2 oz slider.Great fight mostly up and down, but he cleared the water 4 times.I was a 1/4 mile past the bell buoy but nearly ended up on the beach when I landed it.It went 74# bled out(20# of tail),not huge but plenty big enough to keep.Had some on the grill.Good stuff.Shared with family and friends and still have enough for many summer grill sessions.Any recipes would be appreciated.

Perfect eating/handling size. Congrats Travis

For recipes, keep it simple. Olive oil + salt & pepper + hot grill = super tasty.

Marinated in Italian dressing, kabobs, blackened, teriyaki, garlic = all good. Its kinda hard to mess up.

Congrats again !

You look pretty jazed in that 2nd photo. Congrats.
Grilling on the BBQ is great, but it would be hard to screw this fish up anyway you did it.

Exactly what he said...
My favorite fish to eat, and simple...

rub generously with freshly pressed garlic being sure to leave lots of garlic in for the oill, very lightly sprinkle a dash of Emery's and grill on medium heat being careful not to overcook or stick to grill. A lobster tail with butter is a great add on.
Add some mashed, or au-gratin spuds, and steamed veggies... damn I am getting hungry just thinking about it. Goes great with Chardonnay or your favorite beer. If you really want to impress with a fishy dinner leave a # of thinly sliced AHI or yt sashimi on a platter for everyone to gather around and munch as you prepare dinner. (or hide it next to the grill for your own stash)

Congrats again!! Enjoy your many dinners and let me know if you cannot find a way to dispose of all that meat!
