I know you can't walk away from that deal. I was up there to get a Avet from a private party and wound up with a rod and reel and the saltist. Sometimes we luck out. Paul

Did they have anymore Saltist 40 with the 4.9:1 BV

I scored the last two they had in the 30T and the 40. Both in the 4.9:1 gear ratio.
The new black Saltist doesn't come in a 4.9:1 and Daiwa told Charkbait that they don't plan on making the lower gear ratio. ![]() So get them while you can. ------------------ This reel can land anything and should always be on your kayak. Thanks Paul
