No kayak love

Been busier than hell lately with little time for the yak, so my buddy Dave and I got out real early on his boat the other morning.

Had a hard time finding bait, but we had some dead stuff hanging round, and this guy was nice enough to show up.

Finally caught my first Hopefully I will get one on the yak soon.

Cooked up half a fillet for my team at work, and taking some on a pig hunt this weekend with some bugs. The rest is going to be devoured soon. Those beyotches are tasty!

Ya never know... didn't some kid catch a WSB in the channel a while back, and he got flamed on the interwebs because no-one believed you could catch a WSB in the Mission Bay?

Hah! Found it! http://www.bdoutdoors.com/forums/ins...y-channel.html

That was true. A friend was fishing the wall that day and seen the fish.

Hey - don't laugh.
I personally know of a 46 lb. WSB caught in Mission Bay.

True stuff.

I know, I know... And 40 lb yellows in the bay and bluefin in IB shorebreak. Heck they even catch salmon in La Jolla! It's just fun to say!

Again great fish! You'll get your kayak seabass soon enough...

Its my buddies skiff. He would disagree with you. He has her running great, he is just setting her up and learning as he goes. It is a neat boat though. Wish I had the cash for one.
