Best price for HDS-5, but.........

THAT'S $673.99 FOR THE HDS-5 W/50-200 TRANSDUCER AND NAUTIC INSIGHT!

BUT.......Has anybody dealt with Boatersland.com? I could only find 2 customer reviews and they left a lot to be desired.

You can try to price match with West Marine:

http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...rice-Guarantee

"Which retail competitors do we price match?
Almost everyone! We price match:

Retailers with one or more stores located anywhere in the Continental U.S.;
Internet retailers with one or more store location(s) operating on a “fulltime” basis (e.g., during normal retail days/hours) located anywhere in the Continental U.S.; and
Certain “internet only” retailers without store locations (ask a Store Associate or call 1-800-BOATING (262-8464) for details).
For our Canada, Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico Stores, we price match any of the above in those markets only."

Yes price match at West Marine!!
I would shop for one without the nautica insight. The Lowrance Package Model 140-21. Seems like I see those for around 650....the "insight" is not worth the exta$$...

I hate big brand stores, but WM's extended warrenty is really great, Ive used it multiple times in the past with FF's and they really replace it on the spot, no questions asked!! I would not buy marine electronic anywhere else!

I agree, skip the Nautic Insight. Get the Base Map and save your dough for the Navionics Fish N Chip or Platinum. West Marine matched the price of anchorexpress.com for me. Be aware, that they do not do instant exchanges for products over $500 (I think that is the figure). The warranty is still well worth it for our usage of these type of items.
