Snotty Monday
so I reeled in my drifting mack and sent it straight down. In 10 seconds the rod tip was vibrating, gave it some freespool for the drift, and hooked up. After I had been fighting the fish for about 20 minutes, Sharon paddled by and watched the rest of it and took the picture. She had to give me some tips on how to hold up the slippery beast, but I need to go out and practice on some more. Thanks, Sharon! |

A great reminder to go out even when it's snotty and cold out.

Nicely done...
It looks windy, crappy and cold---yet perfect at the same time.
Perseverance through adversity, I like your style.

Great job out there!!! Nothing better than being just you and the ocean. Well, it is nice to have someone be able to take your OTW trophy pic. If that someone is Sharon, all the better.

Thanks everyone.
I used to have a rule that I told myself not to fish on snotty days because I never caught anything but a deep chill. But maybe I just have to learn how to fish those days. |
