Wade was correct...I paid big bucks for the Shimano butterfly's from my favorite Newport tackle store.....not anymore! I will let you know how they look compared to my Shimano's when they arrive. Shimano has some savvy marketing. If you want to fish thier $20 jigs correctly you need to buy thier $400 reel. I remember talking to a shimano rep at the Long Beach FH show when the "system" was brand new. The guy was going on about how you can fish the butter fly jigs over structure 500 feet deep. I told him in CA it's against the law to fish deeper than 60 fathoms. He looked at me like I was an idiot. Anyway, the butterfly style looks like a fun way to fish; lighter and easier than our traditional style yo-yo. Except I already have a yo-yo set up and plenty of heavy iron that work with out investing way too much cast. Mike
