thanks Joe, i'm just gettin into fishin again after a long break, my son and I are trying to fish off of our sup's, hopefully i will eventually meet up with some of you guys this summer, i've been to the harbor and off the shore to the kelp lately, just getting my set up right for the summer fish season.

So Joe, if we go out the harbor, i hope we are talking Oceanside cause i'm up north, and around by the peir we should see some halibut action? what depth and what time of year. Do you sabiki your bait or hit the bait dock?

Every leopard I've got I thought was a Hali at first, but some of the biggest Leopards I get come from up in SB, Carpinteria I gotten some 5 ft. beasts up younder, and always in the sandy flats. Never eaten one, do they taste like chicken?
