There's waves but you will be fine... leash your gear and time the sets. It really doesn't matter how big it is you can always sneak out. Besides... you don't get tossed until on the way in. Scallywag and Darkhorse have a secret technique, they just strap an extra 50lbs of ballast on the back for the landing.
