Don't be too eager to "BEEF UP" for the BIG fish. That kind of a stick has many uses and may make some fishing more exciting. You ain't gonna be thumpin 40lb YT all year long, or maybe you will.

I have way more fun fishing lighter tackle..without question..heck a catch that still sticks out in my mind...I caught a 23# yellow on a roached out trout rod with 10# test...80 anglers on the Freelance that day at Catalina...pissed everyone off big time. |
