i got a cushion, the ones used for the kneels while gardening from Target last year on sale for $5. i like these because they don't deform like a pillow b/c they are more dense and they also have a plastic water repellent type of cover so it won't get water logged. i have been using this with my hobie stock seat and it has been holding up pretty good.
i would also recommend another one for the back. |

Found a door mat that is made from recycled foam rubber - looks like flip-flops - $6 at BedBath and Beyond - just need to cut it to size. I wanted one that has a lot of holes to allow water out.
