Hoopin this Thursday (Feb 3rd)

Gonna head out this Thursday for some
Hoopin in the Bay
if anyone is interested.....

Low tide is 3:37, so I'm hoping to get out there somewhat early and not fight the tide peddling out too much.

High tide is 9:54pm, so I'm hoping to be done and riding the tide in by then.

It was a beautiful night out there last night. The wind died down, and temps were reasonable (of course I was bundled up pretty good).

All I pulled up were shorties (stopped counting, appx 20), but still a great night.

Of all the nights to forget my camera! As the sun was setting, there were multiple pairs of dolphins doing aerobics for me. Jumping in unison up to appx 5', and occasional solo jumps of 15-20 feet. Very impressive!

And then, as the sun set even more, the pelicans then started their aerial dives for dinner. They had to be at 30-40' as they dive bombed the water for their feast.
