![]() As a side note, out of curiosity, if you cut a big whole in the bottom of your brand new Hobie does it effect your warranty? I have no interest in cutting a whole in the bottom of my boat, but have always wondered about this for those that do.

not sure about the warrenty issue...
Hobie is really good about standing by their stuff... chances are, if the defect requiring warrenty was nowhere near the hole they would stand by it... matter of fact... the last time I had a boat warrenteed by them... they asked me to cut out the serial # and send it too them... now that was a big hole in the boat... |
