Hooping 12/13

Great day on the water!!!! Hit a new spot and managed 4 keepers and Big Momma. Based on the numbers that were coming up I thought I was going to hit my limit in under an hour but after I caught my 5th keeper the big boys stopped crawling. I had 5 keeper in the yak on my first two pulls, last pull at 2000, home by 2100

Great work! That's good stuff. Nothing but doughnuts my last few trips partly due to Mr. Seal. I also lost a trap on a rock. Kind of freaky pulling and yanking while keeping your balance in the yak...On a warmer day I would've jumped in and dove it cause I couldn't imagine how that sum beetch wedged in...

I've guess I've got to move around and keep looking. My spots worked over...Wifey keeps saying just buy some damn bugs already...

Nice man, i remember a post from you earlier this season saying you kept getting skunked.

Way to keep on it. Looks like you are getting pretty damn good at this.

Sweet haul, that will feed the wife, the kids (and the girlfriend).

Watching all you Lobster boys is making me consider trying my hand at it. I sure ain't catchin any fish lately, so might as well not catch something else.

It can be a bit frustrating for sure...but I'm changing it up just a bit. The paint ball pistol was delivered a few days ago. I'm shooting some dogs in the dark...as well as pull up small crabs and bugs...I got an eel, a sugar bass, sculpin...a mixed bag but few keeps.

Did you catch those fish in your net? I believe that if you catch them in your net they are considered BYCATCH and are illegal to keep.

All released my friend. If it doesn't have antennas, they find freedom. This is about me proving to wifey that I can be...at times...a successful hunter gatherer for my clan.
