News on TV had a blurb about a sand phenomenon??????
Anyone know what the hell they are talking about?

Not sure - but local news tends to make things for thrilling/dangerous/controversial/exciting than it really is - to get you interested. Guess I was suckered into it this time. Couldn't find anything local to SD about it.

I never knew how risky my early life was. I used to "surf" down those sand wall. I'd get on the edge, stomp my feet, and then ride the little avalanch down the face. I had now idea I was flirting with death.
