7/12 LJ: Happy Ending

I skipped the massage as well

Small surf, north breeze turned NW around 8 kts, down to 5 kts around 9 AM. Green to greenish blue water with 10-15 foot visibility. Water said 73 when I left the house this morning. Decent downhill current. Bigger macs under the lights, wich were over the south side of the pier. Rounding the corner buoy and Vito goes bendo and I follow suit on both my baits....big boneys. I stuck another bait out.another boney. They ate all my baits pretty quick, except the biggest one, around 10 inches. They left him alone all morning. I went out around the NW corner. Had a YT breezing parallel to me and threw the iron way in front of it..too far, before the iron came in front of the YT a boney grabbed it  Had a couple other fish see me before I saw them as there were some big swirls right in front of me. Making my way in, still towing the big mac and got picked up 30# mono, 3/0 J hook with a good chunk of Pt Loma still showing. Felt a few stringers that seemed to pop with ease. Fish onboard...finally at 9:45. Saw Dan on his way out and requested the turn-around photo beeyatch services

Not sure if I like the new camera, may take it back.

I will get back to you tonight on the Bass photo---

Nice one, I'm always happy to snap some fish porn photos. Quiet for me for my short late morning/mid day run.

Some dogs and calicos on bait for me. On my way back in, tried for flatty's in front of Childrens pool. Got to watch the lifeguards rescue a sinking tandem sit inside kayak....can you launch from the cove in front of peoples wall? they did, with little success.

Nice kill today. Bigger grade, eh?

Photo looks sharp, colors...little purple-ish. Too combersome?

Nice one Andy! Hope you didn't keep it, otherwise the self appointed guardians of all that is right with fishing may decide to lecture you.
