I use to make shark trolling lures for fishing makos and Tsharks and all the bright colors work, but red and red pink combination's worked the best. I think the safest color shark wise is blue. One reason I camo'd my kayak hull was that I was concerned about the bright lime green hull attracting sharks. Lime is bad enough, the trade off is you want boaters to see you, but personally I would not own a Red Orange or Yellow yak. I've seen first hand that our local sharks are definitely attracted to those colors. Jim Last edited by Fiskadoro; 11-02-2010 at 02:57 PM. |
