Made quick bait at pier, even a few sardines. Headed out across canyon to find a fleet of boats, and thought that there are probably more boats then fish, so changed direction and landed at a spot where i thougt there might be a chance of some yellow tail. Soaked two macs and waited. Shortly thereafter reel begins to peel off line. With rod in hand , tighten drag, reel in , and fish on. A nice yellow in about 60 feet of water, weighting about 12 lbs. comes on board to keep me company on the ride in. Great 4 days of fishing , total of 5 yellows, can it get any better then this?
