After losing a WSB last summer on the Sabiki setup I always make sure I use Sabiki's with 30lb on main line and 20 lb to the hook....figure I then have a better chance at landing whatever may grab the sabiki......of course doesn't help when there is sharp teeth involved....did you have a 30/20 setup?

There were some larger Bonito out yesterday. That could have been the culprit.

same thing happened to me 2 days ago...big Bonitos!!..pin teeth on 8# pops, get the bigger sabiki # test always.
i kept every bonito i got for the sweet sweet ![]() ![]() ![]() -the reason why i use heavier sabiki isnt because u can land a bigger fish with teeth ( which is always nice), but because i can unravel a monster birdsnest after 6 squirley spaniards mash up my bait rig ... |
