Eric - thanks bro, lets fish soon

Adi - I told ya I was gettin close

DMRides - thank you very much

Bellcon - you know it... wish I could be back out there today

Aaron - thank you, i was screaming like a little girl out there

Mtobolsky - looks like it... I'll have to work on my gaff shots next

jorluivil - 0- 3 I was
0 - March
0 - April
0 - May
0 - June
0 - july

before I got that one... I caught a lot of fish in my days fishing the overnight to 5 day boats.. but that one was probably the most rewarding of all.

since Josh is big on making observations, here are a few I made:

Josh + black hat = lots of fish , Nic + black hat = 1st from yak ???? I switched from my blue hat I normally wear to a black one and whaaaameee.
the area I was in had some bait being worked at the surface and it felt fishy so I hung around.
there were some obstructions in the area that I made sure to keep an eye on as to not get too close.
Due to a later launch, I only made one med size mac and I didn't want to waste any more time. Some times I waste too much time trying to make a few of those perfect size macs.

anyways, thats all I got. Maybe that will help some one else, maybe not... but more than anything - black hat

Nice fish, Nick

Excellent to see you get results finally!!.

BTW I think you might find an extra rudderpost fixed into the rear hatch of your boat if you need it in the future. I had no idea that hobie had done that til recently when I was doing some maintenance. give it a look.

Enjoy that fish!!

I think I saw you heading out as I was coming in yesterday. I also picked one up about the same size and missed another one. I couldn't find any bait so I was using a bare iron. A couple winds off the bottom in 100 ft of water is where I got my action. Got mine at 7:30 and was on the beach at 10
