I have checked out that trailer in person. It is a great value. Not something that you would want to take cross country but for your purpose, it might be something to consider. I have considered picking one up to haul mulch for my garden.

The problem with light weight trailers like these is that they tend to bounce around quite a bit, especially if you do not have much of a load.

I would check with someone who knows about trailers, (that would not be me), and make sure you know how they might perform with just a kayak on board, towed behind a small car like yours.
