When I was a kid we would wade into the surf chest deep and fish for blue fish on the east coast.

It was a summertime thing, and we would do it at dusk when they would bite.

I don't know if I would float offshore at night though, too many toothy critters out there.

I'd rather use the spear. But in the case of the Skisherman he does have the catch-and-release option. Looks like a lot of fun. 'Whatever floats your boat'. Or "Whatever floats your whatever!"
