how wide are the crossbars? does it go out to 60 inches? do the crossbars detach from the towers.....I'm only needing the cross bar and the yakima components.......

The bars should get out to 60", at least that's what Rage advertises. I'll get out there and measure them to be sure. The bars do detach from the towers but I'd like to keep them together since I'll have no need for towers alone. If you're interested maybe we can work on the price a bit.

@ Gino - I haven't needed these for the last 3 months but my procrastination kept me from listing them. My bad, my loss.

I'll take them for 115.00 if you are interested I could pick them up on Thurs after fishing La Jolla with cash in hand or today with a post dated check(for Wed = payday).......looks like you're in somewhere in San Diego........

That looks like a fair price to me. Most of the thule kits are with rain gutter foot packs, and no one has those anymore... And if you found one with aero foot pack, you gotta buy a fit kit, another 50 bucks. Cool way to set it up though, dont gotta drive around with it when its not in use.

I have these same racks and I carry a Hobie Oasis (14.5' long) on the roof of my Buick. They work Great, even going over 70 mph!!
