It was a simple wood handle, with an OLD hook, that the tip was pretty rusted away on, and some electrical tape near the handle.

thats was a friend of mine yeah that's the ticket... It was one of those gold floating promars it had a clip for a leash zip tied to it leash is still on my yak... I mean my friends yak

that was my gaff! I lost it on the way out after going over a big wave, 3' wood handle with cloth tape on the end and electrical tape wrapped around the top where the hook goes into it
