Malibu's warranty doesn't carry over if you buy it used genius. It's only if you buy it new. It's your own fault for not understanding that before you bought the kayak. I wouldn't bash a company because of your own mistake, no wonder your post got deleted.

Most companies do cover the yak for structural flaws up to so many years no matter if you were the original owner or not. It’s like a car, you buy a car most car companies have a 36,000 mile warranty, does that end if you buy it used with 30,000 miles. No!!!, So It’s not Stoneales fault for assuming it would be warranted. I have never owned a Malibu yak, But know Andy he has great customer service, I'm sure if you’re not happy with anything that you bought from him, He'll do his best for the customer.

Stoneale, I deleted your post because you placed it within a post I made to promote a sale that I am working hard on. Placing a bunch of photos of your kayak seemed a little out of place........no we are not taking trade ins at this sale. Bring in your kayak and your receipt and talk to me. I will make it right.

Hey, Thank for putting on the sale. My friend an I drove up from San Diego to attend and you hooked up both up with Pro 2 Tandems. We got there at 8am and there was already a line. You guys pulled off a great event that was very fair and professional. And it was hectic out there.

Thank again. And now i am joined up to Big Water's Edge because of it.

btw, both crafts are down at the Mission Bay location right now getting fully rigged up for fish/dive/recreation.

It's going to be a great summer.

Thanks a million!

I have to say something, I was driving down the 5 one day to go fish La Jolla doing 60 and look in my rear view mirror and WOW dude that looks a lot like my kayak, that is my kayak wholyshezite, was not operator error thank you very much, the rack it self failed and the back rack came off mt shell, anyways I pull over after watching my kayak due a triple-lindey, get the yak and the fishfinder and etc.. put her in the truck launch in the pm.
Long story short caught one my personal best yellows that day. No cracks not to many scuff marks and is still fishing to this day.

The kayak, A Malibu Extreme X-Factor ,old school.

Even if I were to buy a new kayak other than a Malibu, I will Never Ever get rid of my Malibu.

Thumbs up OEX Rock-On!!

Wanted to give thanks to Andy and staff for the big heads up on the sale and the way it was run. Many great deals to be had on that day. Scored an X-factor for my brother and a X-13 for myself.

Thanks again Andy and OEX staff!
