06/02 am

In amongst the toothy terrors, I found this little fellow this morning.

Broke off his big brother 15 minutes earlier. Damn.

Brad, the word on the water was that you lost that first fish on some bad advice ops:

I swear this one was gut hooked. There were a few better fish landed out there. I got 2 YT that were both around 8 pounds, well the one I weighed was 7.8. In the Capture the Flag Tournament I also submitted a 8.4 boney and the one I was most happy with was this 38 inch 7.4 cuda. (that is a first generation Jimijig in the kisser) Thought I had a chance at capturing the barracuda flag, but an 8 pounder has already been submitted.

thanks for the report guys!!!

Trinidads rule! you can't beat the customer service..
the new TN's(built in the later 2005) have the new side plate that have more drag pressure than the previous ones...

adustable clicker? shoots, that's the first thing i disable!

Afran
maybe trade the 20 for my 14

Good job gentlemen...(can I call you guys that?)

Will be on the agua Sunday with the Fishcatcher, hoping the lad lands his first YT from the yak...
If he does, you won't miss us...look for the screaming celebrating lunatic

He ate the heart of his first albie, will he do the same?

Nice job guys... As for the pm shift, not much when on (from what I saw, anyway). Bait was tough to get, but a skiff was kind enough to hook me up with some. Thanks John... I went out past the point and the south current was rippin'. Pinned on some macs and made my way to the spot where I lost the fish on Thursday. I hook up, it runs and then drops it. Reel in my bait and it's dead. Do it again and the same happens... Pretty sure it was lil c-bass. Oh well.. Paddled in at 2030. Nice evening out, with a slight onshore.

Nelz, thanks for the offer. I sent a few of reels into Shimano and it will be 10 weeks before they come back (!). Wrong time of year to send them in. So I'm a bit limited on gear right now. Let's chat about it when you get back from that 8 day. I have to do a little research on what reel will suit my needs.

peace
