different yaks. What did you finally settle on and how are you transporting it?

I got an OK Trident Prowler 13. Bought a Yakima kayak kit which is two foam blocks and 7 straps to hold it down. Two for the two foam blocks, two at bow, two at the stern, one for the middle through the back doors. Took a few trips before I got it to a point where I'm more comfortable with the mounting of it.

thats alot of strapping.

I only got 4 and she doesnt move at all going 80.

Yes, it takes a bit of time to get it all secured. The straps at the bow and stern are combined to make one big one.
