Thursday Am Prospect Street Report

Foggy and Calm in LJ today. After a couple days of wind and chop the seas look glassy with a very tight interval swell building. It looks like this pm may be shaping up for some sun and hopefully the surface action will pick-up again.

After getting my first Yellowtail of the year on Friday with a surface iron I took a business prospect out Tuesday afternoon and got one on a Greenback. We did not get on the water untill 2:30pm and only caught one greenback on the way out. We tried Spanish in vain as others hooked-up all around us on Greenies and Sardines. Fianlly, we made a few Greenies and I hooked an apx. 30 pounder Homeguard that kicked my but for 20 mins without even getting into the kelp. My buddy got hit but did not seem to let it run long enough. Josh's website designer, Don caught 3 Yellows and anther guy had two. Seems to be a pm thing as am shift guy came in only seeing Barries which we did not see.

The is now coming out in LJ at noon and I wish I had my kayak in the parking garage. Get out there and good luck

The Suuun is out and the birds are diving

Big Bird schools diving in the canyon and off the condos. Food Poising from a funky lunch is possible. Use your sick-day and get out there.

waves are too big...everyone should stay home...

DAMMIT i am stuck at work and this thread is absolutely making it so that I get no work done. Give me some bad news. Something like, "fish all left and are waiting for tomorrow" will suffice
