That same friend of yours went down to OEX KM on Tuesday and worked with Rik to set the frame work on a bait tank for the Porta-Slayer...
I thought the Del Mar show was lame. Only saving grace was Jim Sammons seminar on landing big fish from the yak |

You guys really need to go to the hall show in Long beach next year, talk about a difference. You can get anything you need there, but I will say that it was down from last year. Don't forget that day at the docks is coming up in April.

They should turn the Del Mar Fred Hall show to a three day event. I worked the show at my booth all of the days. Not as many people as in years past. Too many local guys go to LB for that show. If you consolidated it to a three day show there would be more interest by vendors and it would seem more busy.
I did like the show however....LB is a pain in the butt with the isles being packed and the traffic sucks. At Del Mar you can actually talk to the vendors and experts without having to shout over the noise and hustle & Bustle. |
