![]() California Attorney General Jerry Brown, left, flanked by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, answers a question concerning the lawsuit the state has filed against the federal government to force a decision on whether the state can impose the nation's first greenhouse gas emission standards for cars and light trucks, at a Capitol news conference in this Nov. 8, 2007 file photo in Sacramento, Calif. Nearly four decades after entering California politics, Brown has reinvented himself yet again, this time as a carbon-fighting attorney general. In less than a year as California's top law enforcement official, the former governor, presidential candidate and Oakland mayor has emerged as a major player in the national debate on global warming. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() It is hucking filarious the chit they are trying to pull. If not for us kayakers and spearfishermen and women AND kids, they would have gotten their way... ![]() Might want to add misappropriation of funds, that is sure to be coming soon...along with conflict of interest charges. Ya, Mr. Wiseman, mock the children now for wanting to speak for what they believe in and patronizing them with your 'the children need to practice their speeches' comment... Hope all of you enjoyed your free lunches, free dinners, and your write-offs. And thanks for allowing us, the public who like to think we have a voice in this fair process, our rights to free speech, as long as we can get 10-15 of our comrades to cede their time to speak, just to allow us the whole 1 minute to convey our concerns about this entire process based on extensive public input. By the way, during this extensive undertaking, have you, the BRTF, ever figured out a way to make sure our waters are cleaner for our fish population to thrive, looked into ways to create artificial reefs to allow fish to have sustainable areas to reproduce, addressed the need for better enforcement of our laws regarding the take of undersized, endangered, protected, the out of season take of threatened species, and was there ever talk of limiting the take of species that were considered in need of consideration on slot limit and slot sizes? Also, was the Children's Pool aka Seal Cove, ever considered in this entire process in regards to the amount of fish consumed per mammal, and the end result it would have on the depletion of fish stocks? We, the public, would like to know...
