Golf cart report 12-30

Fishing opportunities are few and far between for me right now so even though I am just coming off the flu I decided to fish today since the planets were in line.Decided to take my skiff(the "Golf Cart") out since I think paddling would have killed me.Tide was almost in the street at 5 am.Went to the spot and yo yoed for 2 hrs for nada.Saw one yt caught by a PB but I didnt see any other action.Went for plan B.

Coming in through the surf was nuts.I jumped out in 4' water to trim the motor up and a wave lifted the rear of the boat up and it took off.I was hanging onto the rail and the cleat caught the cuff of my paddling jacket and dragged me with the boat.Water rushed in the neck of the jacket through my waders all the way to my socks.Good stuff.

I will be working in LJ (Scripps Hospital)soon.Looking forward to getting out more,as I will bring the yak.My Sons treatment is still ongoing but with Gods help we will get through all this.

Hey saw you out there and talked with you at the launch (sand colored WS ride) glad you got to pull on something. Congratulations on the T. The landing was certainly exciting. Almost fun to land and be able to double park the skiff on the street at the same time, almost. Again congratulations.

yes she is much more of a fair weather boat.I have a big cimitar knife for filleting bigger fish.I consider it a must have when doing large scale filleting.I got 20 vacuum packed bags with 2-4 steaks each from the T.I got tired of filleting with a small knife and with some fish its impossible.for filleting tuna in Japan they have thing that looks like a sword.

I'm jealous you filled your refrig with
beautiful steaks. But even more so:
the long fight and potential jumping.
It's thrilling. Nice job.

Our thoughts and prayers for your son's
quick recovery.
