The DFG regs are finally getting reasonable. I've always kept mine in my wallet and never had a game warden hassle me for not wearing it.

Nice to know we do not have to keep them out in the open in 2010. I have had one warden check to make sure that I was wearing it where it was visible, but I just hated having to constantly remove it and forget to hook it to whatever gear I was wearing for the day I am going fishing. This "new" regulation will allow me to keep it with gear I always carry when fishing, so I will not forget to bring it

What are the benefits of having a commercial fishing liscense, if any. ?
I heard you can keep BSB as a bycatch. |

The Commission stated that they would not be voting on a final map likely until Dec. 2010 at least. They have all kinds of red tape and assesments to go through before they can make a final vote. So don't buy your 2011 license early.
