Very nice Dave! Always fun to share some Christmas Joy while being bent! Mine went 25lbs. I lost 2 others, one at gaff that was well over 30lbs. See you all tomorrow!

Beautiful fish!

Tomorrow seems like a great idea looking at the reports ...
the good news is that the fish will probably be there.

Be prepared for a rougher launch and sloppy conditions though.

The wind forecast is showing 12 mph NW by 6 am, and,
18 mph NW by 8 am, but anything is possible when forecasting
wind.

Good luck.

Casey

What I would do to have video of looking behind me to see only a kayak upside down. Then someone screams my name and I realize it was you, Casey. I'm scrambling over to you in an effort to help with the yardsale over deep freezing water. Then to my surprize, I see my hardcore Navy client, climb back on his kayak with a rod bent in half ...Sooooo sick! Talk about a proud moment, bro.

Wavster's alive? Looks like someone is trying to pack a years worth of lost fishing, into one day.

Launching reports via iPhone

Ok I got a call at about 5 am saying it was all bad so I stayed in bed after waking up and checking the buoys and wind readings, some brave souls attempted and so far I know of one gentleman flipping and ingesting saltwater and having to be helped in and then go to the hospital. I know of at least 2 other guys flipping and turning around and paddling in.

That being said please fellas take the proper safety precautions, always check the conditions and if your 50 50 on them use your better judgement and do the smart thing that matches your abilities as a waterman. I hope eveyone is safe and dry! Obviously the bite has been good of late but a fish isn't worth risking hurting yourself or putting others in danger or losing your gear etc..

Fish smart and fish safe! If anybody did make it out and score a fish today it certainly seems like you earned it today!
