Please come to the Fish and Game Commission meeting on Weds in LA. We're set for a huge body blow, with roughly half of our significant ocean use areas slated for closure.

thank you paul this post helps clarify the damage we are likely to face.

i can tell you that when i first started fishing la jolla, i was very thankful to only have to paddle out a short distance to reach the grounds.

now it appears that that distance will be lengthened, not a problem for those who are experienced, but it appears they are the only ones concerned with keeping la jolla open.
