Those are still some pretty respectable Halibut, even if they didn't break the scale.
How do you set up a "hoochie rig"?, is that top secret, or something you'd be willing to share? It sounds like a great thing to have when catching bait proves to be a challenge.

BTW, it was nice meeting you at the party; I was wearing the blue Pelagic shirt and green G Loomis hat.

Nice looking Hali's! Well done.

Fishinkid, this is one option:
Use a little less weight on the 'yak. I usually use between a half pound and a pound, sometimes less.
Just raise and lower your rod on the drift and let it thump on the sea floor. The Hali's love 'em.

What is your prefered color for the hoochie? I'm attempting to set up a bounce ball rig for the next time I head out.
